How much does a website cost?
That’s a bit like asking “How much does a house cost” !
There are so many different types of sites available but if you’re after an approximate idea, we would charge from £649 for a basic “online brochure” website upwards. We feel that an impressive looking “brochure” website (on average) costs four figures though… Like most things in life, you generally get what you pay for. E-Commerce (or bespoke coded sites) cost from £3999+VAT upwards.
What information do you need from me ?
We would need (ideally) a colour / colour scheme that you like, the text to go on the site and any existing logo or images that you already have. We do purchase professional images also included in our prices should this help then you also do not have to worry about potential copyright issues.
What is a domain name and what is hosting?
We do all of this for you. A domain name is the www.domainname.co.uk and hosting is where we actually create your site on our server i.e. a host computer that stores your website thus enabling people around the world to see your website. Our server also hosts your email and we also offer webmail – a really handy facility where you can check your email from any internet connected computer.

What deposit do we pay and when do you require the balance?
If your site costs £999 or less (without V.A.T. ) we ask for full payment upfront, anything over this we would ask for 50% deposit and 50% immediately on completion (prior to the site being setup live).
Will our website be listed on Google?
It depends – If you decide on our website marketing / internet promotion service also then yes we get your site listed in Google – We usually do quite well here and can supply many existing examples of our client’s google listings.. If you do not, the chances are that your site will NOT be listed well in Google (unless your business is in a really, exclusive niche area where not many other websites operate).
Can you get our website listed well in Google / Yahoo / Bing?
Yes we usually can ! We actually study the internet looking at historical data and work out the best target phrases to use to market your website i.e. we see which phrases people are already using to find your business or a service that your business offers and then design the website from there.
There are some SEO companies out there that GUARANTEE a page 1 Google listing – This is crazy really as there are only 10 positions on page 1 of Google and millions of websites trying to get there – We have many clients listed on page 1 of Google / Yahoo / MSN (Microsoft) for various search phrases which brings in new enquiries to their business.
We are referring to great search phrases i.e. not very, very specific ones that nobody would really use in the real world.
Is Google Promotion a slow process?
If it was easy, everyone would be offering this service.
We slowly promote your website and usually generate new business for you.

Shall we meet up?
It’s up to you – We are more than happy for you to visit our Web Design studio in Kent – we can sometimes come to you if you are fairly local but 99% of the time all of the project can be carried out via email / royal mail – This helps us reduce our costs and allows us to offer a faster turnaround time to you.
What happens after ?
We maintain lots of our client’s websites for them and update content frequently. It is your choice really. We offer various editing systems where you can edit your own website though.
Can we edit our own website ?
Yes – it all depends on your exact editing requirements i.e image galleries, thumbnail creation required and so on.
